The Week of PhiloMonaco is set to take place from June 11 to June 16, 2024. Organized by the Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, the event will feature numerous speakers including philosophers, researchers, psychiatrists and psychologists, writers, and professors. The discussions and exchanges with the audience will focus on topics such as Ecology, Education, Care, Women, and the Art of Living.

The main venue for the event will be the Princesse Grace Theater, which will be transformed into the “House of Philosophy” during these days. Additionally, the Matinales, held in partnership with Monaco Info and the Municipality of Monaco, will take place at the La Condamine market. These morning sessions will provide an opportunity for encounters and discussions with the invited personalities and the audience.

Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, in collaboration with PhiloMonaco, will host meetings on June 15 at the Café de Paris terrace and the Hotel Hermitage. To conclude the Week, the Yacht Club will welcome the final gathering on June 16.

Other highlights of the Week include philosophical lunches in association with the Médiathèque de Monaco and the Café du Théâtre Princesse Grace, the launch of the magazine “Les Jeunes philosophent” for students, a philosophical snack for children aged 7 to 10, and an awards ceremony for a book, an honorary mention for a publishing house, and the High School Student Prize awarded to two students. Book signings will also take place at the Theatre’s bookstore.
