Three new ambassadors have been accredited in Monaco. The ambassadors of Serbia, Nepal, and Burundi were received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Berro-Amadei, who invited them to a breakfast at the Hotel Hermitage.

Isaïe Kubwayo, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi; Minister Berro-Amadei; Ana Hrustanovic, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia; and Sudhir Bhattarai, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Nepal, presented their credentials to H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Ana Hrustanovic previously had a career in the private sector as a journalist before joining the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro in 2004. She has served as the coordinator of public relations in the Minister’s Office and as First Counselor at the Serbian Embassy in Rome. She was the ambassador of Serbia to the European Union in Brussels from 2016 to 2023 and was appointed Ambassador of Serbia in France in 2024.

Sudhir Bhattarai holds a Master’s degree in Physics and is a career diplomat. He joined the Foreign Service in 1995 and has served in various divisions of the Ministry. He was part of the Embassy of Nepal in Belgium and the Mission to the European Union from 2017 to 2021. Currently, he is the Ambassador of Nepal in France and Andorra and the Permanent Delegate of Nepal to UNESCO.

Isaïe Kubwayo started his career as a teacher before being assigned various positions at the University of Burundi, including advisor and head of the vice-rector’s office. He was appointed First Counselor at the Burundi Embassy in Paris in 2006. From 2012 to 2014, he served as Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and later became the Ambassador of Burundi to Morocco. Currently, he is the ambassador of Burundi in France, Portugal, and Spain.
