Full Story:
Nine children and teenagers, aged nine to seventeen, who are in remission from cancer at the Léon-Bérard Center in Lyon, had an unforgettable experience on a therapeutic cruise provided by members of the prestigious Yacht Club of Monaco. The sailing adventure was organized by the Voilier Sir-Ernst association in collaboration with the A chacun son Cap association and the Yacht Club of Monaco. From April 21st to 26th, these brave youngsters embarked on this exceptional journey from Le Lavandou to Monaco, allowing them to find freedom and hope away from the daily challenges of their illness. Prior to this adventure, the children followed the sailing expedition of the boat Sir Ernst, which started three years ago at the docks of the Yacht Club of Monaco and went on to navigate the waters of Antarctica and the canals of Patagonia, creating a unique bond with the hospitalized children they met along the way.
