The Ente Agosto Medievale Città di Ventimiglia participated in the fifth meeting of the Grimaldi Historical Sites of Monaco to promote the Agosto Medievale. The event took place on Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, where they set up a promotional booth in the beautiful setting of Monaco’s Palace Square. This international event provided an excellent opportunity to continue promoting the Agosto Medievale 2024 across borders. The theme for this edition focuses on the Grimaldi family of Monaco and the Doria family of Dolceacqua. The preparations for this edition began with the presentation of the Palio Marinaro, followed by a guided tour of the main historical and architectural sites of the Historic Center. The highlight of the event will take place during the last week of July and the first week of August with evenings dedicated to reenactments. On Saturday, June 15, the group of Flag-wavers and Musicians of the Ente Agosto Medievale performed an exciting show near the entrance of the Prince’s Palace. The President of the Ente, Piero Fusco, expressed satisfaction with the project and the unity among the Flag-wavers and Musicians. By bringing these young talents together, the commitment and efforts of the Sestieri have been rejuvenated. Thanksto the perseverance and recruitment efforts of the Captains, they have successfully engaged and united the younger generation, creating a connection between different generations to preserve the history and traditions of Ventimiglia.
