This change has been met with frustration as the final day of Ligue 1, known for multiplex matches, has been moved one day later. The League of Professional Football (LFP) modified the schedule to accommodate French clubs still competing in European tournaments.
As a result, supporters’ plans have been disrupted, either requiring additional expenses to extend their stay or forcing them to cancel their trip altogether. Fans are angry at this decision, which appears to prioritize European teams (Paris and Marseille) over their supporters.
