Four luxury watches worth nearly €40,000 have been recovered following a robbery in Monaco. The incident took place on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 12, 2024. The robbery targeted The Watch Project, a jewelry store located on Boulevard Princesse Charlotte. According to Monaco Matin, an unidentified man threatened the store manager with a handgun and stole the watches while the manager was retrieving an authenticity certificate. The suspect fled on foot towards Beausoleil and was later apprehended by the French municipal police. The watches have since been recovered, as confirmed by Deputy Attorney General Morgan Raymond. The prosecutor of Nice, Damien Martinelli, has yet to comment on the case. This robbery comes after the high-profile heist at Monaco Watch Company in May, which involved a multi-million euro haul.
