Full Story:
Princess of Hanover inaugurates the architectural sculpture Régulus at Villa Paloma. Created by Guillaume Aubry, the pavilion is inspired by the collective experience of sunsets. It is not just a museum café or a public space, but a combination of both. Régulus is located in the south-facing garden of Villa Paloma, designed by landscape architect Octave Godard. The structure features a solar oven at its center, allowing for the heating and cooking of beverages and snacks. Made of solid bricks assembled in a geometric pattern, Régulus also includes a counter. Guillaume Aubry, an architect and artist, conducted research on the theme of sun during his doctoral studies. Currently, he teaches space design at the École des arts décoratifs in Paris. The opening of Régulus will be accompanied by a special evening event called “Soirée Sunsets,” featuring discussions, food, cocktails, and a projected performance of the film “Sunset Boulevard.” The event is open to the public.
