Princess Charlène of Monaco attended the annual Monaco Christmas Ball, held at the Salle Empire in the Hôtel de Paris. While Prince Albert II was in Paris for the reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame Cathedral on December 7th, Princess Charlène did not miss one of Monaco’s prominent end-of-year events. This year’s gala had a “Paris-Monte Carlo” theme. The event, a symbol of the Principality, welcomed many renowned guests. As is the tradition, a charity auction was held to raise funds for the Princess Charlène Foundation, which supports drowning prevention and children’s education through sports. According to Five Stars Events, the Foundation raised €269,000 on that evening.
