A young brown grouper, found weak in the Larvotto reserve almost two years ago, has been returned to the sea after being cared for by the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. This juvenile grouper was a victim of poaching and overfishing in the past. The fish was successfully rehabilitated and released back into its natural habitat on June 3. It is now able to join its fellow groupers in the sea. This rescue and release is a positive step in protecting marine life in Monaco’s waters.
