Full Story:
The Government of Monaco has authorized the Entente Interdépartementale de Démoustication (EID) Méditerranée to carry out a mosquito control campaign in Monaco-Ville. This decision was prompted by a suspected case of dengue fever in a person residing in a neighboring department but having professional ties to Monaco. The campaign will take place on the nights of September 2-3 and September 5-6, between 2 and 4 am. Residents of Monaco-Ville are advised to keep their windows closed during these nights and avoid walking on the Rock between 2 and 4 am. Additionally, the inhabitants of Monaco are encouraged not to visit the Rock during this period. Although the products used for mosquito control are not toxic to humans, they may cause temporary discomfort and irritation.
