Monaco’s students recently participated in the “Gesto di Natale” event organized by the Senior Service of the Municipality. The young volunteers, along with Camille Svara, Deputy Mayor responsible for Social Affairs, and three councilors, Jacques Pastor, Karyn Ardisson Salopek, and Nathalie Vaccarezza, as well as members of the Department for the Elderly and Social Action, delivered gift baskets and various presents to 25 beneficiaries. In gratitude for their generous involvement in assisting the elderly, the Service des Seniors et de l’Action Sociale presented the young volunteers with gift vouchers and Christmas treats. This act of solidarity was much appreciated by the lonely and isolated elderly individuals, who found comfort in this pre-Christmas exchange.
