The “Pain d’épices et gourmandises” (Gingerbread and Delicacies) Village is opening today, Friday, December 6th at 4 pm at the Hercule Port in Monaco. The village will remain open until January 5th, 2025.

After the Principality of Monaco’s Christmas lights were turned on by the Prince of Monaco, it is now time for the “Pain d’épices et gourmandises” village to open. The village is organized by the Municipality of Monaco.

Visitors will be immersed in a magical world of food and drinks, with 21 gastronomic stands and 24 chalets selling various products. Fun activities include a Ferris wheel, a Christmas tree carousel, a slide for sledging, Santa’s sleighs, and a Christmas carousel for children. This year, there is also a Christmas-themed play area.

As in previous years, the village will feature various roving performances such as mascots, stilt walkers, dance troupes, and costumed artists along the Quai, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. Additionally, there will be afternoon shows and musical evenings for everyone to enjoy.

For children, there will be creative workshops such as cookie decoration and face painting held in the Entertainment Chalet on weekends and every day during school holidays from 2 pm to 6 pm, all free of charge.

On Monday, December 23rd, and Tuesday, December 24th, from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Santa Claus will meet the public before departing with his sleigh full of gifts for everyone.
