Monaco was represented by Minister of State Didier Guillaume at the 5th meeting of the European Political Community in Budapest, Hungary. The summit aimed to facilitate dialogue among European partners on security challenges and strengthen cohesion and cooperation. Over 40 heads of state and government, along with representatives from the European Parliament, European Council, and European Commission, participated in discussions on migration and economic security. Minister Guillaume engaged in informal exchanges with several European leaders throughout the day, as well as holding bilateral meetings with the Prime Ministers of Luxembourg and Croatia and the Heads of Government of Andorra and San Marino. In addition to the summit, the Minister of State’s advisor, Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, attended a working meeting presided over by Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. The next summit of the European Political Community is scheduled to take place in Tirana, Albania in the first half of 2025. Minister Guillaume was accompanied by other Monaco officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Ambassador to the European Union.
