Full Story:
Monaco is preparing to host the Monaco Yacht Show in 2024. The event will take place from September 25th to September 28th. Workers will begin construction on August 31st to prepare the port Hercule docks to accommodate the 560 exhibitors at the superyacht show. Several areas, including Quai des Etats-Unis/Avenue J.F. Kennedy and Quai Antoine Ier, will face restrictions starting from September 9th, as well as various other docks in the port. The Route de la Piscine will be closed for two weeks for logistics and staging of exhibition stands, although it will remain open during morning rush hours from Portier to Quai Antoine Ier throughout the period, except for the day before the show opens and the three days following its closure. The event will involve parking restrictions and traffic arrangements for both vehicles and pedestrians, sometimes resulting in total closures for a few days. However, measures will be implemented to facilitate traffic flow during peak hours, including allowing drop-off of schoolchildren and creating temporary circulation patterns for deliveries. Motorbikes will be allowed to park on Avenue de la Quarantaine starting from the occupation date of Quai Antoine Ier. While spaces will gradually be opened to the public starting from September 29th, normal conditions will be restored by October 10th, 2024.
