Full Story:
Monaco is hosting an auction of seized and retired vehicles, offering collectors and bargain hunters a chance to give these vehicles a second life. The auction, organized by the Administration des Domaines, will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Victoria Auction Room on 2 rue Bellevue in Monaco. The auction will feature 73 lots, including cars, scooters, bicycles, and electric scooters, with starting prices as low as 30 euros for two and three-wheeled vehicles and 50 euros for cars.
To allow interested buyers to inspect the vehicles before making a purchase, there will be three exhibition sessions at the Écoles Parking Lot on 3 rue des Guelfes in Monaco. These sessions will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM, and Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
There are three ways to participate in the auction: attend the auction in person, request a telephone line to bid in real-time, or submit a bid in advance to determine a maximum bidding price.
For those unable to visit the exhibition in person, the complete list of available vehicles can be accessed on the monservicepublic.gouv.mc website. The file containing the list and a purchase order form can also be downloaded or requested at the Administration des Domaines offices on the 4th floor of 24 rue du Gabian in Monaco, from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
It’s important to note that these vehicles are not luxury or exceptional collectible cars.
