Monaco will be celebrating the European Heritage Day on September 14th and 15th with the theme “Streets, Networks, and Connections”. The Principality has a rich history as a bustling port and a popular vacation destination since the Belle Époque era. Its architectural, artistic, and religious heritage invites visitors to discover the traces and signs of its unique history. This event will showcase 46 sites and visits that highlight the wealth and diversity of Monegasque heritage. Since 1996, Monaco has been participating in the European Heritage Day, a celebration held in over 50 European countries, attracting nearly 30 million visitors each year. Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer will also be participating by screening a short film titled “Routes, Réseaux, Connexions” at the Casino de Monte-Carlo. The film will depict the history of transportation connections that have allowed visitors to reach Monaco since the 19th century. On Sunday, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the interiors of the Casino de Monte-Carlo from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
