Full Story:
The Government of Monaco, along with the Monaco Private Label, the Monaco Economic Board, the Monegasque Association of Financial Activities, and the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group, recently conducted a mission in London on June 12th and 13th. The visit aimed to prioritize the United Kingdom as an attractive destination for the Principality of Monaco, given the shared importance of the financial sector in both economies. This emphasis on the UK is further supported by the fact that the British community represents 7% of Monaco’s population. The mission had three key objectives: to persuade entrepreneurs and investors interested in Monaco to establish themselves in the Principality and contribute to its economic value; to engage with investment funds and financial companies to raise awareness about Monaco’s advantages; and to deliver presentations to around sixty influential English professionals (tax experts, lawyers, bankers, etc.) with the aim of having them endorse Monaco’s attractiveness to their clients. According to Frédéric Genta, the Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and Digital Transition, “London is an extremely attractive hub for entrepreneurs and globally renowned investors who are naturally interested in Monaco. Once again, our joint approach with the Monaco Private Label, the Monaco Economic Board, the Monegasque Association of Financial Activities, and the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group has proven to be effective.”
