Full Story:
The government of Monaco has recently opened a new parking lot, Les Salines, to accommodate spectators attending the upcoming 7th Monaco E-Prix, which features 100% electric cars. Located at the western entrance of Monaco, in front of Jardin Exotique, Les Salines offers 1800 parking spaces with electric charging capabilities. From there, spectators can easily reach the circuit to enjoy the race, either on foot in a 15-minute walk through Galerie des Salines or by taking one of the shuttle buses provided by the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco. The buses are free, and they run every 10 minutes from 8am to 10pm, transporting spectators to Avenue Albert II, Place d’Armes, and the Monaco Circuit.
During the events, except for May 25th and 26th, the parking fee for a duration of 15 minutes to 4 hours is €7.50 instead of €14.90 in other parking lots. For durations of 4 to 12 hours, the fee is €11 instead of €24, and for 12 hours or longer, the regular fee applies. On May 25th and 26th, there will be a daily fee of €20 (instead of €25) for all entries into the parking lot starting at 3pm. In addition to the Monaco E-Prix, the 14th Historic Grand Prix of Monaco will take place from May 10th to 12th, followed by the 81st Formula One Grand Prix from May 23rd to 26th, 2024.
