The Government of Monaco has announced the launch of an online application process for those seeking a scholarship for language development. Applicants are encouraged to visit the MonGuichet.mc portal and navigate to the Education section to access the application form. Eligibility criteria include enrollment in a secondary or higher education institution and being of Monégasque nationality, the spouse of a Monégasque, a foreign national dependent of a Monégasque, a foreign national residing in Monaco for at least ten uninterrupted years, or an orphan under the care of a state or municipality agent or a French service established by treaty in the Principality for at least five years. Secondary education candidates should be currently studying in Monaco and selecting a language taught in a public or private school in the Principality. For higher education students, the choice of language should align with the curriculum. Secondary school students can undertake between 2-weeks to 2-months of study abroad, while students in special programs have no limit on the number of excursions they can participate in. Higher education students have the option of 2 short stays or 1 stay ranging from 2 months to 1 year. Applications must be submitted online or delivered to the Education Department by 2:00 PM on the last Friday of August each year.
