Full Story:
Monaco celebrated the Christmas season with the inauguration of a Christmas Village called “Gingerbread and Delights” on the Port of Monaco. Princess Charlène and her twins, Prince Héréditaire Jacques and Princess Gabriella, were present for the opening. The theme of this year’s village is “Gingerbread and Delights,” offering a warm and delicious atmosphere. It features 23 food stands, 24 sales chalets, and various attractions such as a Ferris wheel, merry-go-rounds, and a fun course. Families can also enjoy concerts, creative workshops for children, and outdoor shows. The Mayor of Monaco expressed gratitude to the staff involved in organizing the event. The village is committed to eco-responsibility by using recycled decorations, LED lights, and collecting trees for compost. Measures have also been taken to reduce waste, including the use of eco-cups and providing take-away boxes for leftovers. The Christmas Village will run from December 6 to January 5 on the Port Hercule, with extended hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
