Full Story:
The Monaco government has announced the availability of a new “priority for disabled persons” card, designed to facilitate the daily lives and movements of individuals with disabilities. The card grants priority access to seating on public transportation, waiting areas, establishments, and public events. The new card features a more visible and recognizable logo, allowing beneficiaries to easily indicate their status when needed. It is also internationally understandable, thanks to the logo and an English translation, making it usable abroad. Additionally, the card is more durable, being directly printed on a credit card-like material. The previous model of the priority card remains valid, and the new card can be obtained upon request or when the current card expires. For administrative procedures and inquiries, individuals can contact the Department of Social Affairs and Health’s Division of Social Inclusion and Disability.
