The Monaco government is undertaking road maintenance work in preparation for the upcoming Monaco E-Prix and Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix. These events will take place on May 3rd and 4th, 2025, and from May 22nd to 25th, 2025, respectively. The urban development department will be refurbishing sections of the race circuit as well as other areas of the city. This is part of an ongoing effort to maintain the city’s urban road network in good condition. To minimize disruption to traffic and parking, the work will be carried out overnight from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM until March 14th. The following schedule has been released: Darse Sud: night of Wednesday, February 26th; Boulevard Albert Ier – entry/exit area of the pit stops: nights of Monday, March 3rd, and Thursday, March 6th; Sector Virage Noghès: night of Wednesday, February 26th; Avenue Saint Charles: night of Thursday, February 27th; Avenue d’Ostende: nights of Monday, March 3rd, and Tuesday, March 4th; Boulevard Albert Ier: nights of Tuesday, March 4th, and Wednesday, March 5th; Avenue Hector Otto: night of Thursday, March 6th; Boulevard d’Italie: nights from Monday, March 10th to Thursday, March 13th; Avenue des Spélugues: night of Wednesday, March 10th. Bus lines affected by the works will be redirected from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with prior information provided to commuters and available on the CAM website. Emergency services and the police will be able to access all work areas if necessary. Residents will receive full information about the project, and special attention will be given to users of private and public parking lots and shops, with appropriate road signs and pedestrian diversion routes clearly marked.
