Full Story:
In preparation for the upcoming National Day celebrations, the Municipality of Monaco is encouraging residents to decorate their facades, windows, and balconies with the colors of the Principality. The Municipal institution advises that when displaying flags, the red should always be positioned above the white. Additionally, for banners and pennants, when viewed from the outside, the red part should be on the left side of the white part.
The teams from the Municipality of Monaco have several days before the start of the festivities to install flags and banners across the Principality. Two teams work day and night to complete the task. The day team manually installs a portion of the decorations, while the night team handles installations that require the use of a platform.
Approximately 600 pennants, 550 flags, and 90 banners will be deployed throughout the city by the Municipal Technical Services. The installation process involves more than 150 interventions. All of the decorations will be taken down starting from December 10th.
