Full Story:
Monaco has now developed its own font called “Munegascu” to accurately write the Monégasque language digitally. Created by the National Committee of Monégasque Traditions, in collaboration with the Scientific Center of Monaco and with financial support from Sogeda and assistance from the Digital House, the font allows for the correct representation of the Monégasque language, including its unique accents. Previously, substitute fonts were used for the vertical tonal accents devised by Louis Notari in 1927. The font can now be downloaded on both PC and Mac from the National Committee of Monégasque Traditions website, marking a significant change for the country.
