Special Olympics Monaco athletes, along with their coaches, were received at the Residence of the Minister of State by Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Government Counsellor-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, acting Minister of State. During the reception, Minister BERRO-AMADEÏ congratulated the delegation for their achievements at the Winter World Games in Turin, emphasizing their embodiment of courage, perseverance, and teamwork. She also praised the unwavering dedication of the employees and volunteers of Special Olympics Monaco, including President Pierre VAN KLAVEREN and Director Marc MURATORI. The Monaco delegation brought back 12 medals, including 2 gold, in three disciplines: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoe racing. The athletes now look forward to their next big event, the World Summer Games in Chile in 2027.
