Minister Tajani Visited Monaco – Prince Albert II Receives Him at the Palace
Minister Antonio Tajani, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, had an audience with S.A.S. Prince Albert II at the Palace. They discussed bilateral relations, cultural ties between the two countries, and Monaco’s participation as an observer in the Franco-Italian Border Cooperation Committee. The Italian Foreign Minister was accompanied by Riccardo Guariglia, Ambassador and Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Alberto Cirio, President of the Piedmont Region, and Manuela Ruosi, Ambassador of Italy to Monaco.
Earlier, Minister Tajani also had a meeting with Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Interim Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Monaco.
Tajani’s visit to Monaco preceded the meeting of the Franco-Italian Border Cooperation Committee, established by the Quirinale Treaty, which was held in Nice in the afternoon under the co-presidency of the French and Italian Foreign Ministers, Jean-Noël Barrot and Antonio Tajani. The Committee discussed how to enhance cooperation between Italy and France in the areas of language, culture, tourism, and healthcare, especially in the border territories of the two countries, by further strengthening initiatives such as bilingual education, cross-border civil service, and collaboration in the university field.
Minister Antonio Tajani made a lightning visit to Monaco, where he met with Prince Albert II. The meeting was fruitful and aimed at strengthening the ties between Italy and Monaco.
