Isabelle Costa has been officially appointed as the Secretary General of the Municipality of Monaco, according to a notice in the “Journal de Monaco.” She will assume her new position on September 9th. Costa succeeds Romain Druenne, who served as the Secretary of the Municipality since January 2022 and has now been appointed as a Technical Advisor to the General Secretariat of the Government.
Prior to her appointment, Costa was the High Commissioner for European Affairs to the Minister of State, following her role as Cabinet Advisor to the Prince. From 2016 to 2021, she served as the Deputy Secretary General of the Government, responsible for the European Unit.
