The annual Monegasque language competition has seen an increase in participants this year, with a total of 1919 students from elementary to high school taking part. The competition, organized by the Municipality of Monaco, the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sport, and the National Committee of Monegasque Traditions, will begin in May with written exams divided by grade levels. The first group to take the exams will be the first-year high school students, followed by middle school students, and finally, the elementary school students. The top-performing students in the written exams will proceed to the oral exams, which will take place in early June. The winners will be awarded in a ceremony held on June 20th in the Courtyard of Honor of the Monaco Municipality.
