Hungarian Foreign Affairs Minister strengthens bilateral relations with Monaco through working visit

On Tuesday, June 4th, a Hungarian delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, visited Monaco for a working visit. Minister Szijjártó was received in an audience by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince at the Prince’s Palace, after inaugurating the premises of the new Consulate of Hungary in the presence of Mr. José Luis Delso Martinez-Trevijano, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Monaco.

Following this, the Hungarian Minister participated in a working meeting at the State Ministry with Ms. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counselor-Minister of External Relations and Cooperation, to review the bilateral relations between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2016. These discussions notably addressed opportunities for economic development between the two countries.

Building on this meeting, Minister Szijjártó attended a conference organized by the Monaco Economic Board, titled “Business Destination: Hungary.” During the event, Monaco’s economic actors had the opportunity to directly engage with the Hungarian Minister, in the presence of Ms. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï and Mr. Pierre-André Chiappori, Government Counselor-Minister of Finance and Economy.
