The Government of Monaco, in collaboration with various departments, is offering free training sessions on international targeted financial sanctions. These sessions aim to enhance the participants’ ability to implement financial sanctions in accordance with both Monaco and international regulations. The training is open to professionals in the financial sector, as well as entities subject to anti-money laundering obligations such as insurance, real estate, yachting, jewelry, legal advisory, and accounting. Each session will cover topics including Monaco’s financial sanctions regulations, the implementation of fund freezing measures, the role of competent authorities, and the use of the dedicated website for fund freezing measures. The training sessions will take place on the first Thursday of every month at the Department of Budget and Treasury in Monaco. The upcoming dates are November 7, 2024, December 5, 2024, January 9, 2025, and February 6, 2025. Registration is mandatory and limited to 10 participants per session.
