The first edition of the ÜNSEME Cup, organized by AS Monaco President Dmitri Rybolovlev, was a great success. The tournament took place on April 29th at La Turbie Stadium and was well-received by both the young players and the clubs involved. Eight teams, representing different municipalities including Monaco, Menton, and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, participated in the tournament. The event was held under excellent conditions and received strong support from the AS Monaco community, including Laurent Nieloux, the official speaker of ASM at Stade Louis-II, Aleksandr Golovin, and Eliesse Ben Seghir. The Mayor of La Turbie, Jean-Jacques Raffaele, expressed his happiness to see so many young people participating in the tournament, emphasizing the importance of sports as a social tool for youth. The objective of the ÜNSEME Cup was to strengthen the bond between AS Monaco and the youth in the region, as well as promote sports participation among the younger generation. Thiago Scuro, the General Director of ASM, praised the tournament as a great initiative by President Dmitri Rybolovlev to connect with the children in the community and promote values such as sportsmanship and personal growth. The first edition of the tournament concluded with the team representing the municipality of Cap-d’Ail emerging as the winners. They defeated the team from Beausoleil with a score of 3-1. The winning team also had the opportunity to meet the players of AS Monaco. Overall, the tournament was a resounding success, filled with sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participating teams. The upcoming events to look forward to include the “Tous au stade” campaign on May 4th and the second edition of the Munegu Cup – Trophée du Président on May 28th, dedicated to 8 and 9-year-old students in the Principality.
