After securing a silver medal in 2022 and a bronze in 2023, the Ukrainian team clinched victory by defeating Judo Nice Métropole 5-2 in the final. The final was a rematch of the pool phase, where Nice had previously surprised the Ukrainians with a 4-3 victory. However, Ukraine dominated the final, with Dilshot Khalmatov winning impressively in the -60kg category. Nykta Holobrodko and Maxime Gobert also secured victories for Ukraine, followed by Vladyslav Kolobov defeating the new French champion Luca Otmane in the -81kg category. Tizie Gnamien and Tanou Keita ended the tournament on a high note for Monaco, winning in the -90kg and -100kg categories, respectively.
