The “Yachting Monaco” cluster celebrated its 10th anniversary with a sensational evening on June 11th. The event was attended by over 200 guests, including Prince Albert II. The Prince delivered a short speech, congratulating the yachting members for their efforts and emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices. Since its establishment, the “Yachting Monaco” cluster has become a strategic platform for the Monégasque yachting industry. With 411 specialized companies, the sector generates 1429 jobs and a turnover of €567.1 million, representing 3% of the total turnover of the Principality. During the celebration, Bernard d’Alessandri, Director General of the Yacht Club, highlighted the cluster’s role as a representative of the Monégasque yachting industry on the international stage. The cluster is committed to enhancing the training of young talents, improving infrastructure, and promoting sustainable practices. The event also announced the 11th edition of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, scheduled for July 2024, which aims to encourage innovation among young generations.
