The Dante Alighieri Committee of Monaco is presenting two events on December 4th and 6th. The first event, “Lasciami volare sulle ali della bellezza” (Let me fly on the wings of beauty), will take place on December 4th at the Rainier III Auditorium. Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. the Princess of Hanover and the Italian Embassy in Monaco, the event will explore beauty through various aspects, featuring speakers such as Giuliana Poli, Raluca Vatavu, Francesco Boccia, Ettore Marinelli, and a video contribution from Anna Fendi. The second event, held on December 6th at the Rainier III Auditorium, is a meeting with mathematician and writer Piergiorgio Odifreddi, who will discuss his book “Il genio delle donne” (The Genius of Women). During the conference, Odifreddi will share stories of women characterized by genius, personality, talent, and determination, including figures such as Hypatia, Madame du Châtelet, Marie Curie, Rita Levi Montalcini, and Maryam Mirzakhani.
