The 8th E-Rally Monte-Carlo has started from the Casino Square, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco. Among the participants are two teams from the Monaco Municipality. This edition is part of the Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup 2024, a major event in the world championship. One team from the Monaco Municipality consists of Jacques Pastor, the deputy mayor, and Fulvio Gazzola, the mayor of Dolceacqua, driving a Kia EV6, with which they had won the 2022 edition of the E-Rallye Monte-Carlo. The second team is made up of Serge Pastor, head of technical services at the municipal garage, and Christophe Ponset, driving a Kia E-Niro. Additional teams from the Department of Urban Planning, Police, and Yacht Club of Monaco are also participating, collectively forming the “Daghe Mùnegu” team. The rally features a secret route with 14 regularity stages covering a total distance of 250 kilometers across three French departments. The teams will need to manage their energy consumption throughout the challenge. The rally is scheduled to conclude at noon on Saturday, October 26th.
