Résumé:
The Association of Friends of the Princess Grace Rose Garden is organizing the 7th International Rose Competition, with locally grown roses and a chance for the public to vote for their favorite.

Histoire complète :
The 7th International Rose Competition is being held in the Princess Grace Rose Garden in Monaco. This year, the 75 varieties of roses were locally grown by the gardeners of the Urban Development Department using a 100% organic process. The roses were evaluated by an international jury based on criteria such as the number of flowers, weeks of flowering, disease resistance, fragrance, rose quality, foliage, and plant vigor. The winners of the competition were announced, with the Jean Carles® EVEpiweet rose winning the prestigious Piaget Rose Trophy in the Hybrid Tea category, and the Madame® EVEvilady rose receiving the Friends of the Princess Grace Rose Garden’s Favorite and the gold medal in the Multiple Flowers category. Other winners in their respective categories include the Orange Sunrise® rose, the Pashmina® KORjeafra rose, and the Rosa Bonheur® SIRjoie rose. The public also has the opportunity to vote for their favorite rose through social media. To cast their vote, they can visit the Facebook page of the Princely Government and “like” the photo of their preferred rose. The rose that receives the most “likes” will be awarded the Public Prize on June 19, 2024. In the meantime, visitors are invited to explore the Rose Garden to enjoy the beauty of the roses.
