The 48th edition of the Annali Monegaschi, the history magazine of the Principality of Monaco, is now available. This edition is dedicated to the second part of the interdisciplinary colloquium “Le carriere di un principe – Vite e territori di Alberto I di Monaco (1848-1922),” which took place on September 24-25, 2022, at the Oceanographic Museum. The magazine covers various topics, including the academic and scientific work of Prince Albert I and his collaboration with Portuguese naturalist Francisco Afonso Chaves. It also explores the Prince’s relationship with France, as well as the representation of power through images.
