The 24th edition of the Assises de la cybersécurité has begun in Monaco, with the event being opened by its Director, Maria Iacono. The Minister of State, Didier Guillaume, delivered a speech followed by presentations from Philip Reitinger, President and CEO of Global Cyber Alliance, Vincent Strubel, General Director of ANSSI, and Paul Lemesle, Information Systems Security Manager at the Lactalis Group and Honorary President of the Assises 2024.

The event, a key gathering for cybersecurity stakeholders, has attracted around 3,300 participants and 180 partners, including startups, SMEs, major French, European, North American, Middle Eastern, and Asian industrial groups, some of which are involved in Monaco.

Monaco Cyber Security Initiative, a dedicated space for professionals, allows the Monégasque Agency of Digital Security (AMSN) to bring together leaders contributing to the digital security of the region. These leaders specialize in advising and supporting government entities, vital operators, and companies in integrating cybersecurity into their digital transition projects.

During his speech, the Minister of State highlighted the need to strengthen information system security in light of the numerous incidents recorded in the past year. He emphasized the duty of public authorities to remind company executives and public service managers of their obligations when handling personal data, particularly sensitive data, and to provide them with solutions for assistance.
