Résumé:
Dolceacqua and Monaco will hold another symbolic walk on April 28, 2024, to represent the union of these two cities.

Histoire complète :
On Sunday, April 28, 2024, a symbolic group march will take place from Dolceacqua to Monaco, representing the union of these two cities. Dolceacqua, an Italian commune on the French border, has been twinned with the Principality of Monaco since November 3, 2023, making it Monaco’s third twinning after Ostend (Belgium) and Lucciana (Corsica). To celebrate this twinning, Monaco and Dolceacqua are organizing a new march from the Italian commune to the Principality. The first edition of this march took place on June 18, 2023, where Prince Albert II participated by walking the route. The event is open to the public, and registration is required on the march’s website. Refreshments, a cap, a t-shirt, and a keychain will be provided at the event. The march will start at 8:30 am in Dolceacqua, and if you cannot make your own way, a bus departure from Place d’Armes is available at 6:45 am, but places are limited. Reserve your spot as soon as possible. The march will pass through Fort Annunziata in Ventimiglia, Palais Carnolès, Roquebrune Station, and will arrive at the Monaco Town Hall at 6 pm. Participants will walk along the seaside and enjoy several breaks to rest and refresh. As the march is expected to last nearly ten hours, prepare to have your Sunday free to fully enjoy this symbolic event.
