Histoire complète :
The Monaco Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (IMSEE), in partnership with the Tourism and Convention Department, is conducting a survey on the consumption habits of tourists visiting the Principality of Monaco throughout 2025.

The objectives of the survey are to gather essential information, including the reasons for their visit to Monaco, their preferences for accommodation, dining, and leisure activities, and the duration of their stay. This will help to better understand their behavior in order to enhance their experience in the Principality and improve Monaco’s tourism offerings.

The survey will be conducted through two methods:

1. In-person interviews: Hosts and researchers will visit key areas of Monaco to conduct quick and discreet interviews, lasting a maximum of five minutes. Participation is voluntary, and responses will remain anonymous and confidential.
2. Online responses: For those who prefer to respond online, QR codes will be available at partner establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and shops. This initiative is made possible through the collaboration of the Monaco Hotel Industry Association and the Monaco Retailers and Artisans Union.

According to Alexandre Bubbio, Director of IMSEE, the positive response from partners, along with the implementation of QR codes at establishments, will be pivotal to the success of this study.

Guy Antognelli, Director of Tourism and Conventions, emphasized that this survey will provide valuable insights into the consumption habits of travelers. This will enable better strategic marketing and optimization of offerings to maximize Monaco’s appeal as a destination.
