The first Trail du Mont Agel in Monaco was a success with 500 runners braving wintry conditions to tackle the course. The 3.8 km route took participants through the Principality of Monaco before reaching Beausoleil and La Turbie, and finally ascending the 1,100m Mont Agel, which overlooks Monaco. Sébastien Poésy and Théo Le Boudec dominated the race from the start, with Sébastien Poésy ultimately taking the lead and setting a record time of 2h26. In the women’s race, Chloé François emerged victorious in 2 hours and 50 minutes. The 5th edition of the City Trail also took place in Monaco, with a slightly modified route that included passing through the Oceanographic Museum’s aquariums and the MareTerra district. Adrien Janin won the men’s race, while Liv Westphal secured victory in the women’s category. Overall, both events were well-received by participants and will be remembered as exceptional experiences.
