The exhibition “La Fiamma Olimpica attraverso il tempo” (The Olympic Flame Throughout Time) is open to the public at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Displayed are 40 Olympic torches from the private collection of Prince Albert II of Monaco, including the most recent torch for the Paris 2024 Games passed through Monaco. The exhibition commemorates the centenary of John B. Kelly Sr.’s gold medal in rowing, won by the grandfather of Prince Albert II. In his opening speech, Prince Albert II expressed his desire to celebrate the Olympic spirit that has been a part of his family for three generations. The torches on display represent various Olympic Games from 1936 to 2024, some of which hold personal significance to Prince Albert II and his family. Visitors to the exhibition can also view a remastered black and white film about the 1924 Games. The exhibition is open to the public at the Grimaldi Forum until August 18.
