Résumé:
Pascal Olmeta receives the National Order of Merit medal alongside Prince Albert II in a ceremony honoring his charitable work for sick children.
Histoire complète :
Pascal Olmeta was recently awarded the medal of the National Order of Merit in Monaco. The ceremony took place in the presence of Prince Albert II. Olmeta received the honor for his charitable work with sick children through the association “Un sourire, un espoir pour la vie” (A smile, a hope for life). Since 2006, the former footballer has been improving the physical and emotional well-being of these children and their families by organizing fundraising events.
In another project supported by Prince Albert II, the association is sponsoring an expedition to the north of Canada. Christophe Santini, a triathlete, and Kevin Roustand, a paraplegic athlete, will attempt to cover 200 kilometers in freezing temperatures. The polar expedition delegation was received at the Princely Palace on the same day as Pascal Olmeta’s decoration ceremony.
Overall, Monaco and Prince Albert II continue to promote philanthropic endeavors and support individuals who are making a positive impact in society.
