Histoire complète :
The Mediterranean Sea, although covering only 1% of the world’s ocean surface, is home to more than 10% of known marine species. However, concerns are growing about pollution threatening the marine ecosystem. Approximately 80% of marine waste comes from land, carried into the sea by winds and rivers. The recent clean-up at Larvotto beach in Monaco collected 95 kilograms of rubbish. Monaco, known for its pristine beaches and commitment to environmental conservation, is taking action to address this issue. The Prince of Monaco and his family have been actively involved in promoting sustainability and marine protection. Efforts like the Larvotto beach clean-up play a crucial role in preserving the beauty and biodiversity of Monaco’s coastal areas.
