Histoire complète :
Monaco continues to experience growth in the digital sector, with the number of digital establishments surpassing 1,000, reaching 1,031 companies in 2023, a 4.4% increase from the previous year. Over the past decade, the digital sector has seen an impressive growth rate of 73%, according to IMSEE. The sector generates a total revenue of 947 billion, with advertising and communication accounting for nearly half (49.4%) of the companies, followed by information and communication technologies (ICT) with 38.8% representation, and content and support at 11.6%. ICT is the primary driver of Monaco’s digital economy, contributing 63.1% of the total revenue and employing three-quarters of the sector’s workforce. However, gender parity remains a significant concern, with men comprising 75% of employees, particularly in ICT where less than one in four employees are women.
