Histoire complète :
Monaco has renewed its partnership with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to combat human trafficking. The agreement aims to support interinstitutional collaboration through national simulation exercises. The renewal of the partnership demonstrates Monaco’s ongoing commitment to addressing the issue of human trafficking, which predominantly affects vulnerable individuals. Monaco has allocated a portion of its Official Development Assistance to this program, focusing on Mediterranean countries. It is estimated that there are 27 million victims of modern slavery or sexual exploitation worldwide, with one-third of them being children. This illicit trade generates approximately $150 billion in annual revenue. The partnership includes the training of experts to enhance collaboration between agencies and practitioners across borders. Its objectives include improving the identification of trafficking cases in migratory flows, guiding victims towards assistance providers, and promoting victim-centered protection and proactive investigations.
