The delegation highlighted Monaco’s legislation in this area, as well as the efforts made in the 2016 review to strengthen the legal and institutional framework for more effective protection against all forms of violence. The delegation engaged in a frank and constructive dialogue with the committee experts, discussing human rights guarantees, legal assistance, and the improvement of detention conditions in Monaco, prisoner transfers, and other related issues.
