Monaco’s municipality presents a new strategy for advertising signage, focusing on sustainable development, technological innovation, and urban quality of life.
Histoire complète :
The Principality of Monaco has recently adopted a new strategy for advertising billboards, with a focus on sustainable development, technological innovation, and urban quality of life. In a press conference, Mayor Georges Marsan introduced the topic and handed over to councilor Georges Camberini, who is responsible for billboards. The municipality has removed 17 traditional billboards and replaced them with modern digital ones. Mayor Marsan emphasized the importance of integrating billboards harmoniously into the urban landscape and the municipality’s active policy of visual decontamination. Camberini highlighted the role of billboard advertising as a vital means of communication for the community and local life, providing essential financial flexibility for daily projects. Approximately 600 square meters of advertising space have been eliminated, leaving approximately 350 square meters for the years 2025-2026. Some spaces will be dedicated to associations.
