Résumé:
Monaco and Bolivia have established diplomatic relations, with a focus on culture and multilingualism, in preparation for the upcoming United Nations Summit.

Histoire complète :
Monaco has established diplomatic relations with the Plurinational State of Bolivia, becoming the 160th state with which the Principality of Monaco has established such relations. The joint communiques were signed by the Ambassadors and Permanent Representatives to the United Nations in New York, Mr. Diego PARY RODRIGUEZ and Ms. Isabelle PICCO. Bolivia, a landlocked country in South America, has a multiethnic population. While Spanish is the common language, the Bolivian Constitution recognizes 36 official languages, with Quechua being the most widespread. During the signing, the Ambassadors discussed the importance of culture and multilingualism, which are crucial for mutual understanding and respect for differences. These discussions are particularly relevant as the future pact is being negotiated in preparation for the upcoming United Nations Summit.
