Monaco is modernizing the websites of its diplomatic representations, as part of its digital transition strategy and commitment to providing modernized online services. The Delegation for Digital Transition, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Relations and Cooperation, has revamped the websites of the government’s diplomatic representations, including embassies, the permanent representation to the Council of Europe, and the permanent mission to the United Nations in New York. The redesigned websites aim to offer a smooth and intuitive user experience, catering to the needs of local users, Monégasque residents abroad, and international visitors. The platforms provide quick access to essential information, including diplomatic activities, international news, administrative procedures, useful resources for Monégasque residents abroad, and information for foreigners interested in knowing more about Monaco and its relations with the respective countries. The websites are designed to be accessible on both computers and smartphones, providing an optimized navigation experience. In addition to their practical purpose, these platforms contribute to enhancing Monaco’s visibility internationally, showcasing the principality’s image and actions, facilitating access to essential information for Monégasque citizens traveling abroad, and highlighting diplomatic news and bilateral relations. The website renovation is part of the Extended Monaco program, which places digital technology at the core of government services to provide a more modern and engaging user experience. The long-term objective is to offer a turnkey website solution tailored to the specific needs of each diplomatic representation while maintaining a consistent user experience. As part of this initiative, more embassy websites are set to be launched throughout the year, further enhancing Monaco’s digital presence worldwide.
